Yoga, Pengkid and The Iron Lady melting away.

The Majlis Fatwa sure is under fire. The fatwa's on yoga & pengkid has roused crazy responses from various parties... NGO's, SNGO's (S for stupid) women organizations... but not a peek from Malay politicians especially from UMNO. The coming elections has made them careful, worried of insulting the majority Malay population.

Anyways, my personal view of the mentioned fatwa regarding Yoga & Pengkid... well, kinda agree. What i don't agree with is the way they made the announcement, and HOW they came to that judgement. Since it is clear that according to Islam (represented by relevant authorities) that yoga and pengkid are both not allowed, can't challange it much. Who are we to question scholars of Islam? Macam le pandai sangat bab agama nak komen2.

But what can be discussed is on how, who, why, they came up with the fatwa. Was there technical advice from relevant bodies? Was there a clear explanation given to the old geezers/muftis? Do we really expect that the information that they got, represented the REAL situation? Was there any BIAS? I am not aware of these things, but the possibility is there. Secondly... these old buggers seriously have no sense of public relation communication. Agak bodoh jugak cara diorang sampaikan results. To the extent of making them look stupid and arrogant.

Yoga has come a long way. It has been modernised and the elements of hindu rituals and worship has long gone. It is now more or less something like taibo or stuff similar. Logically i would like to ask... if push ups or skipping or even football or basketball somehow imitated some foreign religions worship rituals, would these too be considered haram? Crazy man...

Pengkid... heh. This ones a more interesting case. Sister Of Islam Murtad barked so much. Stating that Islam is not about moral policing. I wonder what kinda Islam they are talking about. Must be some sort of new sect believing that haj should be made in KLCC. Pengkid is clearly haram. Simple as that. BUT, as i mentioned earlier, they Islamic scholars are lousy PR men. They could have explained they issue more elaborately and in a more friendly matter. The mainstream media ain't helping, twisting facts and portraying these muftis as chauvinists and orthodox. Pants are permissible for women, as long as the aurah is protected. I read in NST, a reporter or was it a hooker stated that her attire was in accordance with her job. pants and stuff. But hey, she totally forgot one important thing... the hijab, dah la tak pakai tudung, ada hati nak komen pasal AGAMA. Bapak bodoh pompuan neh... ke memang ada hati jadi kapir? I wonder...

This is getting way too cool. Sharizat finally decided to challenge Rafjis, and looks like Raf is melting. Lets see what happens.

17/11, Fashion show?

Islamic Fashion Festival

Will be held from Nov 24-27 at JW Marriott. Fashion shows and displays by reknown designers locally and international participation from other countries as well. Datuk Raja Rezza, the founder says IFF was a global event to promote Islamic fashion as stylish without compromising on the modesty required of the Muslim dress code. An example is the green design featured in NSTP life & times page 5, bearing the neck area and earrings as big as cow rings. Yeah right, i doubt the founder even knows the aurah as stated by scholars. An Islamic Attire Workshop will also be held in conjunction with the festival, i advise Raja bodo ni kalau ada telo, invite Datuk Asri (Mufti Perlis), Sheikh Murtadza (Mufti N9), Ustaz Hadi to elaborate to all participants and people present about Aurah according to Islam, not Aurah according to convinience and not just blindly following other cultures deemed Islamic, therefore representing the true Aurah? There are too many functions, organizations and the sort using Islams name to convert people from true Islam, to a more liberal and convinient form of religion. To those involved, tanggung la dosa menyesatkan umat... kalau canang cara aurah yang salah... jawab la nanti. Datuk ke tan sri ke, api neraka bukannya kira. Ada paham?

Rais tua bangka pointed out he was not to be categorised as those UMNO politicians involved in money politics, a sign of his decline. He is a Malay purist. An old guard of the round table sincere in protecting the Malay race. He questioned why that UMNO bastard from Penang was given diciplinary action for remarks that Chinese were immigrants... while Tan was let free commenting and questioning Malays bumioutra status. Well, to me that Penang Umno guy should've been detained under ISA... if an opposition member made that statement, sure as hell he'd be detained. But nooo... rules only apply for NON UMNO bastards, UMNO people are exempted. Tan on the other hand was let free to speak since UMNO cant afford to have a dispute with MCA. So... where the hell are the Malay pahlawans? Senyap je. Kecut telur ke? Rais, only limited to talk? No pushing for ISA against Tan? Why not? Syed Hamid Botak? Also telur masuk ke dalam. But if it was an opposition MP... automatic ISA. Funny.

Yesterday Napsiah pencen voiced out her support for Rafiah who was to be replaced by Ghauth. Ghauth was selected by a panel appointed by Khaled and the MOE. Khaled said the appointment should not be politicised, but thats the whole point, the appointment IS a political one. If not careful Khaled would see his last term as a cabinet minister. Don't play around with gender issues, they are deep rooted especially when dealing with the new Malaysian powerhouse; the professional women. Anyways, Syed Jalaludin Celaka was heading the appointment committee. You can bet your money on Syed Jalaludin Celaka for disrupting university policies, dismissing university culture and tradition, closing integral units of universities and changing, rebranding universities unnecessarily just to please his political master. In other words Syed Jalaludin is just a dog, and only a dog smells the ass of other dogs to recognise his own. He has way too many enemies in the academia for him to die a peaceful death, he'd probably die horrendously and no one will forgive his doings. His sins to Serdang will forever be remembered.

To me... a VC should be appointed by the university's senate. A university will recognise its own kind, one who is groomed with the culture and tradition of the university. Who knows the ins and outs, the weaknesses and strenghts. An old boy or old girl should fit in perfectly. Not just someone who can entertain the PM or MOE Minister and ensure crowds during functions and follow orders like a dog. Woof. Even the armed forces have tradition, they recognise only MTD old boys as suitable PAT's. Appointing an outsider would only mean chaos and discontent among the academia, especially when ceremonial functions are prioritised rather than high impact research. Trust me, tradition of institutions go a long-long way. Look at Macoba, Staroba, Vioba and dozens of other old boys. The tradition, pride and distinction is present, the juniors respecting the old. This way, order is in place.

17/11, Parliament today

Parliament Today

A few issues were highlighted today, namely school facilities & budget specifically in Sabah, MECD partnership program between Dewan Perniagaan among races and COLA and minimal wage. KJ was put side by side with the Kta Melaka DAP MP. Geussed he didn't have the balls to be put side by side with say... Mat Sabu, or Husam, or Salehuddin live on national tv.

Anyway, regarding a question by Pasir Mas to MECD, on the current situation of suppliers of building materials & and auto parts being monopolied by non-bumi's... and a suggestion on if it was a good idea to form some sort of distribution channel in each district for bumi enterprises by the government. Noh answered they were aware of the situation, and efforts have already been made by the ministry & ministry of finance to appoint bumi companies to act as vendors or main suppliers.
The issue of coopertions between bumi and non bumi business halls has faced problems... for one, bumis love being sleeping partners, and non-bumis just use the bumi status for their advantage. A truely UMNO culture. Secondly... i absolutely believe that the so called appointed bumi companies supplying bumi enterprises... get their supply from NON bumis... so how does it make sense? How can the pricing be competitive? Its a known fact that most appointed agencies or companies proclaiming to be assisting bumi businesses are almost always mismanaged and politicised. This even comes from MECD itself. Take for example... a so and so company provided with facilities by the governement to assist SME's packaging problems. They were provided with grants and machinery with the hope they will help solve packaging problems faced my so many bumi SME's. In the end... SME's found it much cheaper to bring their packaging needs to Ah Pek offering a 5 cents cheaper services per pack. So, again, how does this make sense? Noh must be stupid. Either that or he's in this as well. Masking individuals true intentions with cosmetic stimulus programs by the government. This is the culture that has been inbred by Malay politicians.

KJ seriously has no honor. How can he, of all people say lightly the talks of sleeping partners... when he himself is one? The statement about how non bumis use bumis just for contracts... is exactly what hes been doing!!! He even brought it to another level... SELLING strategic companies having interest in strategic positions (a security breach as far as i'm concerned) like Pos Malaysia? Pantai HealthCare? WTF. And everyones OK with it??? UMNO ni dah sampai tahap bodoh nak mampus ke apa? Dah takle nak fikir langsung ke? Sad. Malays will soon become extinct.

I was attracted to NTV9's Gadis Melayu reality show. The title gadis Melayu gave me the impression of a nice shawled lady, wearing a traditional kebarung or kebaya, making tea or coffee, speaking in the most polite and soft way possible... able to recite the Quran, berzanji and stuff like that. Couldn't imagine the horror seeing half naked bitches learning proper etiquette and protocol of WESTERNERS... Gadis Melayu my ass. What the hell is wrong with these people? A tv program titled Gadis Melayu but giving marks based on how they learn and present themselves... based on Western standards and protocol? God, Malaysia has come this far from slavery and british rule... but still. Takde lak babi-babi UMNO yang kecoh kata perjuangkan bangsa Melayu bising-bising pasal hal ni?

The Malaysian Scenario;

1. We are ruled by stupid incompetant bastards who are 'syok sendiri' and whose advisory panel / think tanks put self interest in front of the rakyat.

2. Subsidies are non-existant... what is claimed to be subsidies ARE OUR BIRTHRIGHT as Malaysians, not based on the governments mercy or consideration. This misconception has been inculculated for 50 years by the ruling government.

3. So many projects are making Malaysia LOSE money and valuable assets. IPP's, Malaysia-Singapore water treaty, Oil & Gas deals during Mahathirs era, General COmmodity trading involving GLC's and many more including Sepang F1, the Economic Corridors... all using government funding with no transparency and no monitoring.

4. The exchange last two days ago mentioned how the relaxation of the bumi qouta is the way to go. This is generally agreed since protectionism of the so called bumi's is rendered irrelevant since the only people who benefit protection are only a selected few. The main majority would benefit from competition and hardship. Other economic restraints of judiciary and beurocrasy should also be revamped. Ignore Malay purists opposing the idea, these purists are just mere clowns for the real oppurtunists, whom are Malays who have so long taken advantage by the 'handicap' given so long ago.

5. Hinduism will become the official religion once Najib takes over. All Malays will be asked to hang pictures of Master G and perform rituals to ensure longetivity and good fortune. Batu Caves will be declared Kuil Negara and Ayah Pin will be the Deputy Prime Minister, not Muhyiddin (he ain't pious enough and people don't drink his air kaki). Owh, and Samy will be our country's Spiritual Advisor with executive powers over parliament, this time when the Parliament Building leaks he'd be able to perform rituals deemed necessary instead of giving lame excuses.

6. Our leaders are mostly not Muslims. Most of them were just born into Islam and find it a burden since Islam doesn't suit their lifestyle. Thats why despite praying, fasting and stuff, corruption is still rampant. God fearing people are more trustworthy... no matter what the religion. I'd rather do business with a pious Catholic than with someone with a BIN or BINTI but doesn't pray. The concept of God is beyond colour and race, thus those who fear God have a similar set of principles firmly set and difficult to change by material gain.

7. After each change or cabinet reshuffle we see changes in policy. There is no continuity. The main aim is to delete and destroy as much possible the legacy or policy left behind by the previous policy holder so the new guy can take all the credit. Same goes to PM's and MB's.

8. A diciplinary board by UMNO definition is; a group of useless old buggers who outlived their use cuddled together and given false teeth so they can give the impression of being able to bite, and bark when told to. The bite command is just reserved for tactical elimination of threats.

9. The ACA by UMNO definition is; a cosmetic and superficial agency formed to give a feel good effect to the general population that corrupt practices are within control by portraying busts of small scale corruption cases, and ignoring high profile cases.

10. Is it common to have 2-3 ministers in the same ministry? We have a finance minister, a second finance minister... will there be a third, fourth and fifth? What about other ministries, a second education minister? Or third works minister? And its not like theres any betterment or improvement of there are 2-3 ministers. And swapping of portfolios... hey, lemme have finance, you take defence? And theres no need to win a parliamentary seat to be a minister, just a simple blowjob would do and presto... a minister in the prime ministers department. Tadaa!!!

17/11, the raging war within

Todays news revolved mainly around Wanita UMNO. Said earlier that it would be more interesting than the veep race. A dramatic finish suits this episode well, maybe with the ousting of Raf Najis? Not that Sharizat is any better, but a change would be nice. Raf is so stale even cockroaches won't come near.

The main stream media, namely TV3, still lacks the common sense when interpreting statistics. 90% of Malaysians have never exercised; was the statement. It qouted a research done by the MOH on 32,000 respondents. Roughly saying 24.3 million Malaysians have NEVER exercised. Which is kinda funny, since when broken up into age groups... i'd dare say 10% of Malaysians are under the age of 5 years old. Maybe we expect toddlers to do strenous exercise... and how do they interview toddlers and infants? Another age group is the 70-80 ++ group. Amusing to see old buggers jumping up and down execising. Betcha they'd break more bones than burn fat. The stupidity of some people qouting data from research, especially statistics, is amazing. This extends to even Ministers. Well, you can't really blame an eager beaver reporter being overzealous reporting 90% of Malaysians have never exercised, especially if Rosmah is featured jumping up and down like an old ragged wrinkled potato (it was a rather hideous visual, i wonder why Finas didn't censor it). What are the indicators, the methodology used, and objective of the research? This is never highlighted. What normally is highlighted are sensational misinterpreted statistics seen to support certain wrinkled potatoes or those with interest.

RM 500 million will be used to build 15,000 PPRT throughtout Malaysia under the revised budget. Yes, jobs for bumiputra contractors whom 99% are UMNO members and only get these projects because of UMNO! Again, i dare Mat Taib the English Illiterate to make a database of PPRT owners and do research on who actually LIVES in these homes and who leases them. I won't be suprised if 30-50 houses are under one name (or under proxies). Thats how UMNO members make money, lets say a devision head gets 30 units under him... he needs to pay roughly RM 130/month per house, or RM3900 per month. In the end they either sell 'em (double the original price, location wise, PPRT's are strategic) or lease them for RM 200/month, an easy RM2100 per month income. Maybe this is what Mat Taib bodoh meant by stimulating the economy, erm, UMNO's economy at the expense of the Rakyat?

200 new Kemas centers will be made... assuming these are kindergardens. Kemas's module has greatly improved. They were bombarded by reasearch done on how Kemas kids had learning problems once entering primary school a few years back. They learned and improved (eventhough initially they were in denial). Which is good. Whatever benefits the children in the long run, i myself will support even if it meant acknowledging a good module and system from an entity i dislike.

Last night's news was interesting. There seems to be a group of 'Reformists' in the Selangor state government who are willing to demonstrate in the nude as a last resort? Wow, hope all of them are hot babes. The state head of police gave warnings, so did JAIS and other agencies. Its rather interesting, the State Government was just formed a few months ago and now people are willing to demonstrate in the nude in retaliation. I bet my manhood theres a politician behind them, and i betcha he actually has a fetish watching aged men and women in the nude, in groups (what a sicko!)? These people should learn one fact, they were OUSTED by the people, and any attemp to discredit the current state government will be futile since the general population in Selangor are no more ignorant. Information is readily come by, and they can use the mainstream media as much as they want. Alternative media is now THE mainstream mind you.

There was a call for the BAR council to be abolished as certain groups claimed the BAR was used as a political tool for the opposition... so that makes the group claiming such stuff as... apolitical??? The call must've been made by stupid Malay lawyers. Only Malays have this sort of mentality whereby they can claim other people as wrong, but they themselves are maksum despite clearly being in the wrong.

The Water Association Of Selangor, Putrajaya & KL is an interesting entity. Headed by men incharge of SYABAS? Thats rather ironic. Why not ask Pak Lah to be the opposition leader as well? A watchdog entity, policy making and lobbyist headed by people who have interest in SYABAS. I could easily raise water tariffs by SYABAS, then as my capacity as chairman of the water association validate the increase and claiming to represent end users and industry players? Cool!

Imtiaz, School Of Excellence (students only, the management sucks)

Imtiaz lalala!

Imtiaz; School Of Excellence. A secondary school well known for its academic and curricular success. Based on visions of a Quranic, Encyclopaedic & Ijtihadic approach, the students are the cream of the crop... being sculptured into good Muslims excelling in all fields. Its history is coloured with politics, but it survived as an institution since it's policies has proven to be brilliant. The new Terengganu MB should realise this and continue to support this institution, not reduce the budget/allocation just because it was deemed a brainchild of the previous MB.

There are 4 schools in total, Besut, Kuala Berang, Dungun & KT(KOSPINT). All four are under the governance of Integrity Icon (ii) Sdn Bhd, who on the other hand are under Yayasan Terengganu. The reason for ii's existance was for the benefit of the teachers... but in the end since the Ministry is taking over, the effort seems futile.

Earlier this year there was a write up in Harakah about Imtiaz, saying it was a waste of money and in a sense the degree of success is equavalent to other schools with lesser attention. Also mentioned was the lousy management. I beg to differ with that writer. She failed to see that in the long run, its the product of Imtiaz which counts, not just the mere reflection of academic success. Other schools may have equal academic excellance, but do they produce hafizs & hafizahs, who have good learning skills, personality of a good muslim and exquisite leadership qualities? I sincerely doubt any other school has a better annual program or series of programs aimed at increasing skills relevant for both learning & personality development and skills relevant in preperation for university life. Most of the products are pureblooded Anak Terengganu, Imtiaz will surely benefit the state in the long run.

What i do agree is, they have lousy management, paticularly ii. Last minute programs, sudden reschedules, meetings out of nowhere... are all marks of a typical Integrity Icon doing. Up to the level where its staff have accepted Integrity Icon as a No-Integrity Icon. Biases also occur, for example claims by immediate staff of ii are cleared almost instantaneously, while claims by teachers take (relatively) ages to get through. Ustaz Wan, despite having headed ii for a few years, still fails to show the level of professionalism that should resound from the name Integrity Icon. His leadership should reflect to his underlings, and it does, but in a negative way. Being a young CEO, he should have been able to learn from mistakes and be transparent in hearing advice from fellow workers, especially older and more seasoned ones. Then again, being in a politically elected position does not give much room for flexibility. In the end, it runs exactly like a typical Malay political party, not like an institution of excellence. One thing Malays still fail to realise is that the academia, should not be politically run. I recommend replacing strategic positions in ii and give room for improvement by quality personel.

Lets compare a few Imtiaz's. Dungun unexpectedly is one of the best managed and has a worker satisfaction level unseen in other Imtiazs. I understand some teachers and staff actually travel back and forth from distant places such as Kuala Berang! It does make one think WHY do these staff show such loyalty, even when offered to transfer to nearer branches. The logical answer would be good governance, an environment conducive for work and a performance based management. This team if given the helm of ii should be able to bring about change.

KOSPINT... being in Kuala Terengganu (Serada) is considered the main Imtiaz. Possibly with the largest number of students and staff. I got news that KOSPINT is under a dual staff system, one from ii another from... cant remember. Forget about that. What i want to highlight is its lack of modern facilities. It has a lousy computer system and internet access. I heard that there were a bunch of PC's unable to be used due to software problems? It costed a bunch, but now lies usesless rotting somewhere, only two of the many had internet access. I wonder what the technical staff are doing. Software problems can normally be overcome, if the programmer is good in cracking programs & language. Internet access? Lousy. They can't maintain a good connection due to..??? I cant imagine what excuse the technician would give. I problem solve TM's connection at home by myself. It isn't that hard... and its especially NOT DIFFICULT for a qualified technician PAID to solve these problems. I wonder what Mak Cik Mardziah is doing, i bet she cant even flush the DNS of the schools modem.

All in all, if one reads Imtiaz's Ulul Albab program, its vision and mission... one would believe that the Management of the Imtiaz Schools and Integrity Icon should implement it on themselves first, before even thinking of educating the students. Currently they are trying to implement something which they themselves do not practise nor believe, and worse... show the exact opposite. Don't be hypocrites and embarres the State Government by emitting the wrong message to the general public. I strongly advise the Terengganu MB to be a little proactive and be more involved in Imtiaz's development. Imtiaz will churn out future professionals with an Islamic core, undoubtly what the current Government of the day lack. Reshuffle the management if deemed necessary and put qualified experienced persons who will deliver. Imtiaz is indirectly under Yayasan, there should be something the Terengganu MB could do.

16/11, Oh Maria of my heart

Wanita is becoming more interesting by the day. Different views, opposing groups. This will be more interesting than the veep race.

Syed Hamid sure is dumb. Why he can't see the ISA as a human rights violation is a mystery. I mean, detention without trial... most of the time just based on hearsay, doesn't count as violating human rights? Sumbat je semua menteri under ISA. Rasakan.

Maria Tunku Sabri is one of my favourite hosts and TV personality. For one, she defutes the typical hot, sexy and stimulating bootylicious bodies that normally appear on tv. Secondly is how she eats! My God, she makes me hungry just watching her eat! Owh... by the way, the Riverview Seafood Resteron she ate (Klang) sells Tiger beer, couldn't have made it more obvious on the signboard. Maria must've thought Tiger beer as a type of soda drink or sumthing. The ministry of tourism condones Muslims to eat at premises selling alchohol, its for the greater benefit of the tourism industry you see? So to all Muslims, please eat and drink at premises selling tiger beer, anchor and stuff... our government promotes this. Why not eat at premises selling pork as well? Its as haram as alchohol. Now this may seem unfair to some liberal Muslims who say the food is halal, its just that they sell beer, its not like they MIX alchohol and stuff in the food. Well, liberal muslims aren't muslims by the way. They just pretend since they were BORN as muslims and try to find a thousand and one excuses to verify sins as justifiable and humanely viable. A good example is Sisters In Islam. They should change that to Sisters In Islam Murtad. Suits them well.

Talking about Islam gives me jitters. I sincerely lack the knowledge, but hold fast to the basics. What gives me more jitters is the fact the majority of pious muslims are so stupid... it frightens me. Take for example... ask anyone in Kuala Terengganu about the current global crisis and comment about the fiscal budget Malaysia proposed. 1/10 would say they've heard of sumthing like that. The others? Hell yeah, we are dumb. I am not against jemaah at masjids, hearing religious talks and stuff, but it sure would do a lot of good if these talks include current issues effecting our lives directly. How long should we be ignorant? Even my close family members are in this group. Sad.

I got my hands on sony's soundforge. interesting, never toyed with an audio program before. Probably will play with it for the next few days.

14/11, say no to legitimate income!!!

That Penang Opposition leader sure made an effort calling for a press statement 'refusing' the RM 1000 allowance given by the state. The UMNO species is rather intriguing... the go all out for high positions to get money illegally thru corruption... yet when given free money LEGALLY they refuse. I think he would have accepted it if it was given in a dodgy manner, Lim should whisper slowly after state meetings and slyly hand over RM1000, cash. Mafiosi style. UMNO memebrs are used to it... explains why when fed normally and legally they refuse, but under the table... its their normal animal behaviour.

13/11, Penang Opposition, and Tuk Pa's soil test

Today the ADUN Penaga who most probably would be the Opposition Leader, felt the heat of being an OPPOSITION. He blabbered about not being given a chance to debate, and that the speaker used house rules to overule any motions from the opposition. NOW they feel what the REAL opposition feels in Dewan Rakyat. RASAKAN.

Dato Adnan also admitted UMNO money politics this season is getting way out of hand. Always remembered how he normally buys breakfast in tanjung api, in front of that agama skool. He'd wear a kain pelikat and pagoda, driving his black masterpiece he loves so much. He IS a hotheaded leader, but an UMNO purist... do not mistake that.

Here's an issue brought up by Tuk Pa. Soil tests. An opposition MP brought up his own personal experience, having to wait weeks before getting results about his soil test (tomatoes). I personally think it was because he was an opposition MP. >.<

This also, shows the lack of knowledge of BOTH the minister & MP. Soil tests for PH... elsewhere there are already kits available. In Malaysia, the kits are explicitly expensive (maybe due to those commissioned to import this paticular kit?). By now, does anyone realise why agriculture is just a joke an an excuse to make money by unscrulpulous people? I suggest that a private entity do studies and take random samples of N46 supplied by MOA, DOA, Peladang and other agencies... trust me, the contents is more DIRT than N46. The Chinese palm plantation owners just laugh at Malay plantation owners and don't even care about the subsidies bumi's get. They know these fertilisers have no quality and the contents cut down during repacking.

Second thing... ever wonder why NO successful Chinese vegetable farmer ever uses fertigation? Because it isn't practical, expensive and a joke. So who actually does get involved with fertigation? Stupid Malay people believing in the promise of good returns by investing heavily in fertigation. Haha! Malay suckers!

I've noticed recently that Football Clubs in opposition held states are highlighted in the main media, mostly negative. Another one of Khairy's tricks i geuss. Always there was mention of political meddling by the state government. Kedah's FA President said bye2... now the SUltan has called him up for explainations. Theres bound to be some sort of excuse blaming the current state government... but the actual cause was the previous one.

The dead Zakaria's house became an issue yesterday, and today. He's dead. Lets pray more arrogant corrupt bastards die before they can do more damage.

12/11, Battle Royale!!!

Here's another ongoing battle. Between JPK & CIDB. The skills race. JPK under MOHR. CIDB under the Works Ministry. The National Occupational Skills Standards comes under JPK's rule, but then again CIDB's green card and other basic construction accreditation is also recognised. Overlapping? Definately, just look at ASEAN Skills Competition to be held on this 14th, under the patronage of the Works Ministry??? So.... what is JPK? A joke? What they should do is... centralise everything BUT leaving the construction skills to CIDB to develop and manage.

Another issue. Lets say level 4 or 5 of SKM is equal to a diploma (efforts are being made for recognition), one with skills... on with knowledge and a 'proper' universiti diploma... who would an employer choose? Someone who can talk about engineering problems and make calculations solving them or one who can directly solve problems based on technical expertise and do the labor work themselves? I'm not sure about you but for me, i'd take the latter anytime of day.

Another issue. The syllabus for recently made NOSS have been done by considering input from the academia, the industry and also the workers themselves. I'd still say some of them were made rather coarsely and could have been fine tuned. However, for these new NOSS, a misconception done by the instructors; they made the syllabus as the CURRICULUM. Big mistake, syllabus's are only 'guidelines'. Another issue is regarding instructor competancy. They excell in some skills but direly lack others. We have a long way to go regarding skills development.

Owh, RPK is out. So is Razak. Some sort of arrangement was made i guess. The Judiciary system is just a tool for the executive. If you are a bin tan sri sumthing, you can even get away with murder. Or if you're the son of an MIC top gun. Corruption? Hah, thats an easy one. We've made corruption into an art form, up to the stage that we even have our own dummy institution against corruption for cosmetic and feel good effects; the ACA. Its main objective is to highlight low level acts of corruption, sensationalise it like hell and divert attention from the real big stuff. So far, it has done its job so well that Malaysians feel satisfied (the stupid ones, of course).

Another institution whereby to make us feel safe is the police force. The percentage of serious crimes increased dramatically, even murders are a norm nowadays... but hey, the IGP said everything is ok. Yeah, i geuss it is ok since there are also more and more cases of policemen involved in robberies and break ins. Can't fight em, join em?

Lets talk a bit about UMNO. I admire UMNO as being one of the strangest political party existing. Lets see some things that might sound impossible in other sane countries.

1. Our current Minister of MECD was once charged by an Australian court of bringing Millions (?) in undeclared CASH while boarding a flight. No need to ask what for or where the money came from, rather consider his answer or excuse; he claimed he couldn't read nor understand English. UMNO loves stupid leaders as long as they have cash to spare. Also running for vice presidency.

2. An ex-MB and ex-Federal Territory Minister was charged and found guilty by the UMNO diciplinary board(which doesn't really effect anyone since we all know the board is just a joke and filled with toothless old buggers given face to be a member since they outlasted their function). Guilty as in he really did practise money politics, and charged by his own. Scapegoat or not. Now, he's running for the naib Presidency after serving his 3 year ban. Yes, UMNO loves corrupt leaders, the higher the position, the more corrupt. Proof? After found GUILTY of money politics, UMNO members still nominate filthy and tainted leaders.

3. An ex-MB that was shooed to the side due to an UNDERAGE scandal. UNDERAGE as in STATUTORY rape. Yes, UMNO preserves and protects the rights of children by allowing their leaders to have sexual relationships with underage kids. Hidup Melayu!!! Now he's also vying for a naib presidency seat. UMNO leaders can rape kids, and get away with it, the last i remember was an UMNO diciplinary action, not even legal action was made. I can just imagine the diciplinary board shaking their heads and muttering;"Lucky bastard".

4. The current UMNO president dubbed the sleeping one recently commented about money politics. He mentioned more or less, if the delegates didn't want or refused money give aways, money politics would die off... as long as the demand is there, money politics will remain. In other words all UMNO members love corruption and love recieving money, it was admitted by their president on national TV.

5. Lets racap other ministries. 10,000 taxi permits approved single handedly and given to rather dodgy persons. Hmm... thousands of car AP's given to 3 people only? Works ministry giving contracts to PROVEN lousy contracters. Special schemes and monetary aid on the form of loans, facilities etc... all screwed by proxies... UMNO rocks!

New topic, The N.ajis's. Jamal & Raf.

Lets say a few words on Jamal. He's semenanjungs own Bung, they call him Bung Najis now. All flares with no substance. I love Bung (not from the tv series) more since he, despite talking nonsense most of the time, has elements of being entertaining. Bung Najis on the other hand just exudes hatred from observers. I expect even from his own home base. The problem is, don't these types of MP's have better issues to talk about? When the opposition brings out important issues to the house, even the Speaker scoffs it as irrelevant. How can a fiscal budget valued at 7 Billiion not be debated fairly? How can legislation be approved without proper debate? And even if debated, most of the time the right answers never come out? The art of diverting a direct answer has been mastered by Hisham, Anak Akob, Mustapa, Shabery and a few new faces. Hats off, it aint easy screwing the Dewan on national TV.

Raf Najis. Now this entity is as prehistoric as Samy Vellu's toupe. I strongly believed Sharizat was screwed good by Raf for asking the transition plan to be brought forward. I also believe Raf is trying to ensure her influence is still left behind by carefully planning and strategising relevant positions within Wanita. The exco are mostly for Raf, but the ground roots... are rooting for Sharizat. Removing the current exco would not be a problem during the next party elections. Replacing them is another story, she should be careful. I also see no reason why Sharizat shouldn't compete NOW. The transition is in place, so more or less the number one spot is hers. Letting Raf going unopposed is much more dangerous, at anytime before the transition she could launch a smear campaign and try to remove Sharizat and in place, put in a bitch she favors.

11/11, Najib the Economist??? WTF

An economic slow down is inevitable. People are talking more and more about economics, this includes people who know nothing about economics..... but given the portfolio of a Finance Minister. For one, the Fiscal Budget of 7 billion, was never detailed to our liking. The delivery system, the monitoring and general execution. Prof. Mahani, Miss Gan & Master G's student were seen on tv discussing the issue, moderated by the short legged and short sighted Syed, the kid from Bota.

It seems Mahani is still under political control, and so is Gan. They were tooooo nice, sort of a play by the book type of question and answer. Mahani did mention a good point, this Fiscal Budget, was claimed to benefit only contractors... on the dot!!! Of course it benefits contractors, this group of people contribute the most to political coffers, and most of them are UMNO purebloods (theres actually a new blood type... UMNO+). Save your own kind, let others rot!!!

What does piss me off is how anak Akop, anak Badawi and anak Razak claims how the method of cushioning the impact of a global slow down was uniquely Malaysian. Increase expedinture to generate the economy, build infra to attract investors... etc. I wonder how that makes it a Malaysian solution. Read international business journals and you can see tons of material voicing out similar ideas, ages ago. The only true thing Malaysian about this fiscal thing is how it benefits the few.

23rd October, of Didie Alias & Dewan Negara

Pengerusi Persatuan Ibu TUnggal Mas Merah WP/Selangor, a lawyer, 2 moderaters and one DiDie Alias. Wanita Hari Ini 23rd Oct 2008; Tilam & Bantal : Nafkah.

Mainly talking about seperated families... single mothers and the lack of understanding how the system works protecting single moms raising kids without a father, nafkah... eddah.

This is not a new issue, nor is it one to be amazed about. What did amaze me was that even DiDIe Alias didn't know her rights. Bummer. You'd expect a modern classy mum to be a least aware of women rights (at least rights of Muslim women, assuming of course shes a Muslim judging by her name, then again, its hard to be sure nowadays). Then again she doesn't cover her aurah, God knows how she lives her life since i'm assuming she's an artist. But whatever it is... in this paticular issue its always the men being the culprits.

Saying so... does not mean i'm biased. I grew up with a femenist mom, and a male chauvanist dad. Ended up being a guy respecting women, and addicted to power and clout. >.< The lawyer was my favourite... her sincere views that most women are just plain ignorant about the law (Islamic & civil) and the attitude of 'tak apa, buat apa susah2, pikir anak2 dulu'... was on the dot. Women should be more aware, information is power. Some might even be afraid of the husband if aggressive behaviour is present. I also agree if these men are jailed failing to produce the required nafkah (assuming the demand is reasonable... can't expect a mailmen to pay RM10,000/month can we?). Or better, jail those corporate high flying dads who CAN afford the nafkah but REFUSE to do so and rather go years and years of courtroom battles. Ok, jail AND sebat. Irresponsible bastards.

Sharizat contributed a lot to the single mom community in Malaysia. But she lost to Izzah. Serves her right in a sense. She could've done more... at least theres no useless research done anymore. She had a good sense of necessary research benefitting women... the problem is the ones doing the research are bozo's that know shit about methodology. In the end all the data were useless. What a waste.

That mangkuk ayun from Parti Sosialis... i think he's a Hindu or Taoist Monk. He doesn't seem to know or maybe believe much in Islam. The media ain't helping... overblowing the issue. Think they'd get higher ratings if they video'ed some Muslim leaders doing Hindu rituals. THAT would be news. Hinduism becoming Malaysia's official religion... all hail HINDRAF!!! Don't think there would be much difference looking at the current state of Malaysia. Even MCA is asking for the DPM seat... maybe because they see that its SUPPOSED to be filled by a non-Muslim looking at the current hindu ritual situation? hmmm... makes you think.

Always wondered why no UMNO leader commented about that MCA delegate asking for the DPM seat. Maybe BN is planning such a move? Normally UMNO purists would ask for heads to roll. Not in this case... why??? Could imagine KJ wearing a Pahlawan suit driving a spear thru that MCA guy's throat. Hey, he's supposed to be the hero of UMNO and PEKIDA right? Then again he only barks, rarely bites.

MUkhriz... KJ... Toyo. Toyo ni... gedebe tul. I sincerely ask the state gov of Selangor to go thru the files one by one and nail him. An arrogant mongrel. How could he dare highlight things that were brewed in HIS era of governance and blame it on the current one??? The mainstream media pun sama, bangang nak mampus. There is a limit to insulting people, no matter how stupid Malays are.

Hope Khalid will stay focused. Some one needs to teach him how to talk and give speaches. He's a lousy speaker. Any primary school debater can kick his ass debating. Where the hell are other enigmatic people like DSAI? They are a dying breed i tell ya.

I am not interested in the coming UMNO elections, UNLESS somebody goes up against Najib...and Sharizat does take on Rafidah Tua Bangka. Mukhriz should win, unless more money is used to buy off delegates.... remember... the campaigning has been extended.

Dewan Negara now is just a room filled with people that loves to main-main. The Speaker showed his buff against opposition MPs. Which is to be expected since it IS a political appointment. Using this and that ruling for the benefit of BN MP's... NOT for the countries benefit. Obvious and glaring issues involving the countries security and interest were deemed irrelevant... debates not accepted, motions shoved up his ass. Sad. SHould appoint a speaker from one of the NGO's... THEN there'd be some impartiality. She/He wuold definately screw both sides of the devide. That would be fun to see.

KPDN must be blind. Minyak naik, they assured people prices wont escalate. Minyak turun, they assured people the prices will go down. All in all... no one believes them EXCEPT the mainstream media and some selected trader lucky enough to be on tv smiling and saying how everyone should follow his steps and not burden the consumer. Baaah, old tactics. Shahrir said there are only 3000 private NGV users... hmm... lets say there are 5 ngv converting centers in each state. So 70 total. Lets say all started operations just 3 months ago... and the average of 5 cars converted each week.... thats about 4200 cars already. Consider that there are more than 5 per state, consider they convert more than 5 cars per week... and consider they have been operating for MORE than 3 months. Ok... i'm no math genius but 3000 looks rather small. Then again KPDN does have problems when it comes to numbers. Damn it, were ruled by morons.
