A friends view

Recently had a chit chat with a brother about the Perak state fiasco. My bro said it really isn't the Sultans fault since maybe he considered it was the best means to preserve the Malay folk of the state if things were returned to um-no. the reason being that um-no protects Malays. i agree. um-no protects malays.

secondly, he dissed at PAS for using the word Islam as a party name. He said it shouldn't be so if the party causes disharmony and divides Malays whom are mostly Islam by name.

Two views... i disagree on both. Um-no protects malays.... but only um-no malays. try wearing a serban and claiming your a PAS member and apply for MARA or TEKUN assistance. Or maybe wear a PKR hat while asking for the welfare departments assistance. Anyway, when the hell has umno ever helped the people?

Second view... i'd like to make the same request to other institutions... why not remove Islam from their jurisdiction? Ketua Agama Islam. yeah right. Why not Ketua Agama only? Lemme geuss, the king actually unites all Muslims and Malays? Owh... what the hell happened in Perak my bro..... owh... Malaysia Negara Islam? yeah right. quit joking please. At least PAS carries the burden of actually fighting for an Islamic state, carries the image of a Muslim movement, and actually is serious about it. Owh... ketua/jabatan agama islam on the other hand? nothing much i guess... just the increase of social problems among young malays/people born into Islam, increase of murtad cases, more and more tv shows where both women and men bare their aurats, more and more cases of deviant teachings (i consider Sisters In Islam as deviant since they don't acknowledge aurat and support a number of clearly deviant rulings), cases of illegitimate children among muslims... a bloody long list if i were to continue. the ketua agama islam themselves? ah, you guys know better.
