The mighty and the worms

Spent awhile watching the worm feeding ceremony held recently in Sri Menanti. People from all walks of life were present (sarcastically speaking)... the royal/kin, the executive, the wealthy, the powerful, the influential... and of course those who served the first group... the uniformed units, the mufti's, drivers, caterers, usher's, civil servants, the canopy team... etc.
There were a few things noticeable (its hard to censor life telecasts);
1. When initially some members of the ceremony was so respectful of the dead and not willing to step on the dirt and slowly emptying sacks of dirt onto the grave... ended up with the RMAF personal doing a fast job, no non-sense and even packing the dirt with their shoes, stomping on the grave itself. Almost laughed out loud. Was so amused felt rugi lak tak pergi.
2. There were those in white... and black... the whites were mostly kin... from both sides. The women in white... well... only two were wearing proper hijab/tudung. The others? Anyone could see they weren't the tudung type. Not to be judgemental but these are people and lineage which is supposed to uphold Islam...
3. Hmmm.... if i were to die... i'd sure like my wife's or sons or daughters or their offspring's to sprinkle rose water on my grave while praying for my well being in the after world... NOT a non-related Sultan, or non-related PM, or irrelevant people not from my bloodline. Where the hell was his sons or daughters??? Sitting on a chair watching the whole ceremony while cursing their luck not being appointed as head of state? Possible.
Its public record that Tg Munawirs lineage was shunned and treated as outcasts... Hey...if i was a threat to your throne because of my birthright, you'd definitely keep away or possibly assassinate me. Anyway... i was hoping Sheikh M would've heated things a bit... you know... talk about sins, corruption... and related pain and torture. How redemption would only be accepted after the person involved forgives. Maybe throw abit on how LEADERs will be the most questioned in Masyar... and how those who abuse power and oppress will be punished a billion times more. Sure would've lightened things up when peoplestart feeling guilty instead of mourning.
There was news of people organizing new years & christmas bashes... where all party goers have to be naked. Nothing new in that...its just the authorities were too slow to pick it up. To add insult to injury... besides being slow(stupid, ignorant, idiots, with no knowledge whatsoever of whats going around), the authorities are also understaffed, under budget, and to top things off the heads are political slaves. I really can't understand why an agency of religious importance be politicised. They can't even handle actresses/actors.... can't even assure that we get100% HALAL food ... can't even deal with muslim alcoholics, out of wed lock muslim children, social problems pertaining muslims. And to make things even more worse... their political masters don't know shit about religion. Well, maybe Najib would know bits and pieces about Hindu rituals.
Over and over Islam has been desecrated by politicians. I wonder why some middle east countries are trying to copy Islam Hadhari. That thing doesn't even exist. I'm no scholar... but there is only Islam. No Islam Hadhari,or Islam Badawi or Islam Sukahatibapakaku. Interpetration is allowed, but with guidelines... not ideas shoved around during political strategy discussions by non-scholars. The problem is, even those in religious agencies find the concept of Islam Badawi a joke.
MACC's function is to be seen. Why should there be one...when the ACA is there? Couldn't they have empowered ACA instead rather than make a totally different entity? Same with the Judicial Commission. They could've done somthing with the constitution or amend existing laws/rules. But that would end up forming a different commission, and a commission to investigate that comissions findings, which in turn will be referred to a comission comissioning commissions? It'll never end if umno still exists... and all this while the people are fooled again... and again.
You know what... now i eagerly read the morning paper to see which leader dies. Hopefully not the good ones.

Lets not torture the dead... and the living

As moslems... once dead... we bury them... with all the respectful procedures of course. We don't let the dead linger on the face of the earth and give lame excuses such as... erm... the dead guys pet cat is in a coma, gotta wait for it to wake up before we bury the guy.

I wonder what the fuck Sheikh M must be thinking. No comments? It might be ok for other religions... but i strongly believe it goes against Islam... I mean... Buddhists and Hinduism might be ok with it.

If the dead guy was such a nice guy... that'll be different. Imagine if the dead guy was filthy with sins... corrupt... oppressed people... can't imagine how his soul must be scream to laid to rest.

Anyways, been so pissed off recently. So many issues exposing our leaders stupidity. Not a single industry or aspect of life for Malaysians is free from being tainted by corruption and opression. Not a single thing.

All the politicians do is talk & threaten. Both sides of the devide. Sure hope mageran be declared. That'll solve a lot of things.

I've been pondering of the possibility Najib be disposed from the political arena before being PM. Sure seems like a sure thing. Hope those people playing the chess board checkmate Najib. Owh... in addition remove Samy, Rafidah, Shahrir as well. Those pigs are repulsive.

The rift within umno itself is becoming more interesting. More money being spent in Kuala Terengganu for this by election. The state does get the royalty directly now... then again it'll piss the people. When it was wang ehsan under federal... they enjoyed it... but now the state? Maybe the majority won't get a piece of the pie. Also considering the current factions... Mat & Deris... plus those umno members swaying to PAS... BN has a problem. Maybe phantom votes and postal votes wont be enough.

I had a talk with an umno member, an old timer of sorts. I assessed him as a Malay purist... the likes of Tun Hussien... He simply said 'there is no question of Malay Dominance... it will remain till kiamat... we are dominant in Malaysia... but dominated by the wrong Malays. These people serve themselves and not Malays'. Truth be spoken. Racial issues are politicians play thing. In real life we integrate happily. But thanks to politicians... and of course gullible idiots, racial tension persists.

I would be surprised if Wan won though. How can you appoint a deputy internal minister... a ministry that directly violates human rights by enforcing ISA? Then again... i won't be too surprised i geuss. Terengganu people are so laid back they'd vote a handicapped pig if one was to run for election.

My hopes are... Terengganu people be as the Kelantanese... people with Iman & principles. Not swayed here and there merely because of MyDin & Giant. Come to think of it... even the ruler was a bit reckless. Appointing a person just to spite the previous MB. Kinda funny... Terengganu people. They spend millions on equestarian stuff, monsoon cup, ornamental mosques... but not a single one benefitsthe rakyat. When i say rakyat... i do not mean contractors who obviously have links to the developers.

Pulau Duyong??? Idris was a fucking jerk. He knew the previous royalties promised the land to the family of a religious guru... an ulama the royalty were indebted with. Why the hell did he provoke Tuanku??? It touches the promise and pride of Terengganu rulers. Heck... the Terengganu people love their King... I'm only bonded by marriage... but i too love Terangganu's King. Its kinda contagious... even my car has 'Daulat Tuanku, patik menjunjung perintah' sticker all over. Among all Kings... Tuanku of Terengganu & Kelantan are those who are religious. That alone is reason enough.

Landslide victory... and landslides...

The b y election in KT is not gonna be as hot as PP44. At least thats my geuss. BN already won half of the support when the top dogs announced Terengganu will be receiving the oil royalties directly, not as wang ehsan. Mat Said would sure be jumping up and down while Deris is cursing.

Talking about wang ehsan, i'm not sure if the general public is aware of the immense influence it has on KT voters. I've even been reminded by some family members NOT to show too much criticism... why? cause it would effect their wang ehsan money. I mean... i oppose and criticize the government.... and anyone related to me gets the backlash??? Believe me, its true. Its a culture UMNO has developed over the years and i doubt it'll go away.

I think i did mention before that some heads in Terengganu are still 50-50 with the federal BN. Some maintain superficial courtesy... some downright show disgust. It'll be a good show... this coming by election. Will PR exhibit the same show of force and crowd pulling affinity as PP44? Will FRU's be hovered around KT to force people to fear going against BN? Remember... the incident in Marang... during the last GE. I believe PAS will go all out.

I do like Terengganu as a temporary home. A week here, then back to Selangor. Maybe 2 weeks max. Its a peaceful place, with nice people... lots of fresh fish. Lots of suraus and masjids that are active. A sign that KT is rather a religious stronghold of sorts. But never can i stay there permanently. The place is too laid back. The people are too relaxed.. and laid back. Business... cant see anything promising just yet except for agriculture. Seriously, the state should go all out like crazy and make Terengganu Malaysia's top food producing state.

I hope Najib crashes and dies before becoming PM. I'd rather KJ than him. At least KJ wont go around blowing up people. Razak's freedom might be short lived, and somehow i think this case might be a time bomb for Najib... especially when the late Altantuya's daddy goes to the international court. We can't have a Prime Minister being investigated for murder can we? But then again, Malaysia is unique. We even elect statutory rapists as leaders. Cool.

Whats the deal with Valuecap anyway? Those involved should really be investigated. Sumthin soooo smelly and fishy about it.

Talking about fishy... the recent landslides have brought memories of Highland Towers back. As some authority of the issue said, we still haven't learned. I suggest we open up all documents relating to the involved development, from the contractors, PBT, CIDB, DOE, all the way to JKR... go one by one... publish those who APPROVED such projects and hold them accountable. Let them be directors, consultants or who ever. We are talking about LIVES, not just money. Blood is on these peoples hands and those who perished deserve redemption. I'm sure those documents are easily to be obtained. Owh, Pak Lah did mention something about not blaming the previous administration but concentrate on relief and solving the current problem... or sumthin like that. We are blessed with a stupid leader. His statement says it all. Let bygones be bygones? WTF, doesn't he realise we are talking about dead MALAYSIANS. And theres nobody to take responsibility???? Same goes with the Tasik Chini issue..... loggers & contractors polluting the lake for years... and the state government is asking for FEDERAL funds, tax payers money to clean up the mess???? Shoot the guy who made that demand, be it Tok Denan skalipun. What kind of logic are they using?

The Jimah IPP is another issue. RM500million... thats no small amount. And the owners... N9 royalty. I have always hated royalty. The carry the image of blind, clueless, parasitic imbeciles... trying to represent Islam??? We are all doomed to hell. I find it tough sometimes to follow the imams doa each time after the khutbah... praying for the longetivity of rulers. Do they really deserve it? If most of them were like HRH Mizan, well, maybe. HRH, the Agong is adorned by his people in Terengganu... and HRH of Kelantan as well. HRH of Selangor? He's just a sulking kid since all his pet politicians were ousted. If he was smart, he'd embrace PKR all out... its the voice of the people... HIS people. Bummer. If only intelligence was genetically linked, i'd pray for a line of rulers with brains. No datukships for Selangor politicians or any politician this year for Selangor. Good in a sense, but then again, most Selangor assemblymen were activists and non-profit non-glamorous type of people. The UMNO administration before? Huh. Malas nak cakap... paham2 sendiri je la.
